THE THEATRE GOERS GROUP IS GOING TO BE CHANGING

We would like to say a very big thank you for all the support, enthusiasm and encouragement
you have given the Theatre Goers Group and before that, the Theatre Appreciation Group.
The Theatre Group has grown considerably and has evolved and changed, including changing
its name along the way! Throughout, we have tried to listen to your suggestions and
recommendations and, wherever possible, incorporate them into the theatre trips we
organise.

We are now taking the next step and changing from a group activity to an event activity. We
will, however, be keeping the name Theatre Goers.

We appreciate that any change can raise questions, particularly for those who have been part
of the group for some time, so please be reassured that the theatre trips will continue. The
main difference is that, going forward, the theatre events will be open to all Cu3a members,
rather than being limited to members of the existing Theatre Goers group.

An update will be included in the Cu3a Newsletter.

We very much hope that you will continue to join us for theatre trips, events and that, as
Theatre Goers opens up to the wider Cu3a membership, it will bring even more people
together to enjoy live theatre.

Once again, thank you for your continued support over the years. It has been greatly
appreciated and has been a real encouragement to us to keep the theatre trips going.
With our very best wishes,
Helen Farndon, Helen Jones and Pauline Richards
