I gained my degree in mathematics from Durham University in 1984 and immediately joined the British Airways IT department where I stayed for the rest of my career, eventually becoming the Project Manager and System Expert for the system managing the Executive Club. When IAG decided that a single loyalty platform for all its airlines would be bought in from an external company, I took the opportunity for early retirement. Since then, I have amused myself with reading, gardening, walking holidays with my wife Nicola and doing odd jobs for my Mum.

I joined Cu3a as I felt I wanted to broaden my horizons and am currently in the Archaeology, Technology, and Scrabble groups. I decided that taking on the Web Support role would be a good way to get to know more people in Cu3a and contribute something to the running of the groups.

Maintains the Chiltern u3a (Cu3a) Domain Email system. Supports Simple Membership System (SM) Administrator and Group Convenors with maintaining online Group pages as well as creating New Groups and deleting Closed Groups within SM. Member of the Website Team which is currently carrying out a Review of the Website.
