The strides are for members of this group only, and you have to book a place on each stride with the organiser of the stride.

Walks are normally 7-9 miles, often on uneven and sometimes hilly ground, and paths are often muddy, so good walking boots are essential for most walks. We must be satisfied that you are able to do the strides without problems. Suitable waterproof and warm clothing is essential. Strides may occasionally be cancelled due to inclement weather.

Please note that Cu3a does not permit dogs on its walks.

This group has vacancies.

Members accept lifts and come on strides at their own risk, and should be responsible for their own safety when crossing roads or climbing stiles.

We expect members to travel to outdoor activities and to participate at their own risk. During the activity they are responsible for their own safety at all times. Depending on the activity duration and difficulty, members should wear suitable clothing for the conditions and consider carrying their own water, snacks and simple first aid kit. Click here for the risk assessment for walks.

Most walks include a pub lunch, part-way through the stride and you are often asked to order your lunch (through the stride leader) several days in advance, to give the pub fair notice.
