Our group meets on the second and fourth Monday of each month
from 13:45 to 15.45 in the Owen Room at the Amersham Free Church. There is a similar group which meets on the first and third Fridays of each month from 9:45 to 11:45.
Both groups provide an opportunity to "sing for pleasure", as the group names suggest. You don't need to be able to read music, although we do sing from music, and there is some gentle encouragement to decode the "tadpoles on a washing line"!
We aim to sing a wide variety of music. For example, recently we've sung Brahms Lullaby, The Drunken Sailor, Oklahoma, and She'll be Coming Round the Mountain. New members are asked to pay a small amount for a folder of music on joining, and there may be occasional additional purchases of new music.
