We visit places of interest in the capital with up to six guided walks per year. We aim for 25 members per walk, however with over 250 members currently, the walks can get over-subscribed. In the event of over-subscription, we take members' responses in the order received - so first come will be first served. Members are responsible for their own travel to and from the start point. The convenors will provide the dates, times and joining instructions as and when the walks are planned.
This group has vacancies, but please note there are over 250 members already so there may be stiff competition for places!
All those who attend any walk are responsible for ensuring that their next of kin emergency contact details are up-to-date in their online member profile. It is also helpful if these details are on the reverse of their U3A membership card which is in their purse/wallet. Click here for risk assessment for walks.
