The golf group meets every Monday throughout the year, except Bank Holidays, when we play on a Wednesday.
We have no home club, but try to play at different venues for every game, all within 45 minutes of Amersham. We alternate between 18 and 9 hole games, although we try to provide both formats at most venues whenever possible.
We play to the Stableford format and use our own handicap system which tries to ensure that all players have a fair chance of winning. Click here for the local rules.
We are a pretty social group and throughout the year for each game we play we have a competition for winner and runner up and some nearest the pins. We also run two eclectic competitions based at Hedsor and Princes Risborough courses. Every year we award a trophy to our Player of the Year, based upon performances throughout the year.
The group is almost full but we can take a couple more members. We try to fit in everyone who wishes to play.
