We try to speak only in French. We talk about our recent activities, such as visits to the cinema, theatre and galleries, as well as family and social events. We read aloud and translate a variety of texts from newspapers, magazines and books. We have tried that great favourite of French schools - dictation/la dictée – and will occasionally do it again. We shall continue to use the book, Living French, for revision of grammar.
