India is an enigma, that leaves people puzzled. It is a complex and difficult to understand country but at the same time is vibrant and ambitious. A colourful blend of many cultures, languages, habits, festivals, cuisine, social structure, religions , landscapes, it offers a mind blowing experience on every front , and people come away with a sense of awe at how it all still seems to work well together. A bustling economy with immense challenges, and proud to be a pulsating democracy that has made immense strides in its development since independence, it is certainly worth a visit at least. Many are drawn to go back again and again.

The group is intended to: 1) Give people a broad understanding of India as a developing nation, its problems and its promise, its huge highly talented manpower making their mark all over the world. (2) And the transformation it is going through (3) Enable people to freely ask questions and get some clarity on issues about India that interest them . (4) Help people who would love to visit India, in order to make sure they have a fantastic holiday there – where, when , what, and how to be careful . (5) Be open to any general queries about India and above all, perhaps to try and show how this country in spite of its size and its various challenges, still seems to function well ......

We have covered various aspects of politics, economy, communities, culture, tourism, religion, marriage,  history, yoga, well being, handicrafts , performing arts etc till date and will be doing more. We also try to visit places of interest like Diwali Mela, temples, gurdwaras, eating places etc

We also send out  snippers of news about India or short video clips about India to our members from time to time.
