From 25th April 2024 the Poetry Reading group will meet at the convenor’s home 14.30 to 16.30, every fourth Thursday of the month.
Members will offer readings of their selected poems and/or poets. Informal related topic discussion will be encouraged. However, we will be reading simply for our collective pleasure & enjoyment.
Whether it be works by poets such as Wordsworth, Shelley & Byron, Betjeman, Heaney & Auden, or Zephaniah, Dylan & Cohen, it will be an eclectic mix.
The group has currently FIVE (5) members. Our maximum number of members is SEVEN (7), therefore we have vacancies for an additional TWO (2) new members. Interested enquirers please contact the Convenor Sandy Finlay (07743 972572).
