We have now had seven highly successful monthly Tastings in the relaxed atmosphere of members’ houses. We have had keen interest and support from the original Wine Tasting Group and are most fortunate in being able to learn something from their experiences and continue to benefit from occasional offers by some of their members to handle a presentation for us. Over the next few months our programme will comprise:

Bring a favourite wine to Joe Ibbett’s and be prepared to speak about it for 5-10 minutes |

A visit to Vinopolis (Wine Museum and Tasting) near London Bridge, together with some exploration of local landmarks. |
Due to both the recent increase in the tax on wines and the restricted capacity for participants at most of our Tastings, we have regrettably had to increase our monthly fee to £6, to cover both wines and snacks. We are probably in a position to consider taking on a couple of additional members, but preferably those sufficiently experienced to lead their own occasional presentation.
