Members of our group attended the recent Chalfont St. Giles’ Literary Festival to celebrate the 400th anniversary of the birth of Milton. This was very enjoyable, particularly the “Evening with Andrew Motion”, for which Chalfont St Giles lovely church was absolutely full.
