Many Members of U3A complimented us on our performance in November. We have improved greatly and our numbers have risen. We have new wind players, which is lovely but we would benefit from an extra viola player. We meet on the first Wednesday of each month in The Owen Room at Amersham Free Church when we work as a small orchestra with Pam Hearn conducting. Please arrive at 09:30 to set up and tune ready for a prompt 09:45 start.
There will be new music for the Spring term as well as old favourites. We are reviewing the meeting on the third Wednesday of the month. This will take the form of sectionals or small group work on difficult passages. There will not always be a conductor. For further information contact me.
