Association Croquet on my lawn has started. We play at 14.00 on every Monday, except public holidays, until the end of October. Rules, tactics and techniques can be explained to newcomers or these can be studied on www.oxfordcroquet.com. Mallets, balls and clips are provided. This year, there will be no interruption of play for tea, but enjoy a snack in the conservatory between turns if you wish. Beginners are always welcome and will be given an initial handicap of 26 (extra turns to get both balls through 12 hoops and peg each out).
