We have activities organised in August and September that make up our own Summer Festival. In October we shall be looking at the archaeology of a selection of buildings in our vicinity. For the past three months we have continued to thread together our running theme of local archaeology with other matters. In May, we studied the archaeology of London’s Thames water-front; in June, we looked at tombs in places that ranged from Vergina to Halicarnassus via Taplow and in July our unifying topic was underwater archaeology.
