We have been delighted to welcome several new members since the last newsletter. We are not short of space so do come and meet us if you are on your own. You will find us in the Pottery Room at 10:00 on the first and third Saturday of each month. The writer was instructed by members to say we have coffee, biscuits and 'a jolly chat'! We also plan our activities. Using members' cars two groups have recently visited the hotel which was formerly the home of W.S.Gilbert. There they enjoyed afternoon tea and musical entertainment. Two groups have also been to The Butterfly World Project near St Albans. More outings are under discussion and pub lunches are always on the agenda ;meeting for Sunday lunch is particularly popular with some members.
